This facility has been built to meet the growing needs of the area's population and to ensure that room is available for those who need care.
The 24-bed hospice house is an inpatient facility, providing a care alternative to hospitalization for hospice patients. Staffed with a full complement of physicians, nurses and volunteers, patients will receive care for pain and symptom management. The house is also designed to provide a warm, homelike setting with living rooms, porches, dining facilities and other amenities. Family members are welcome to stay with their loved ones for as long as they like.
LifePath Hospice House Care
In the comfort of a homelike setting, Hospice House patients benefit from a full range of hospice services. Professional staff provides quality clinical care, pain control, symptom management, and psychosocial and spiritual support. Respiratory, physical and complementary therapies are also available.
The LifePath Hospice team works with a patient's physician and family to develop an individualized plan of care, providing short-term, intensive treatment during a medical crisis. With 24-hour visitation, the Hospice House is staffed by:
