Your tax-deductible gifts to LifePath Hospice help others by supporting many of our vital programs and services. In honor of the many different people whose lives we touch, we offer a variety of giving oppportunities to match each individual's own level of support.

We are frequently asked by patients, family members and friends, "How can we help LifePath Hospice?" "What can we do to thank LifePath Hospice for the care and support that they provided to our family?" Memorial gifts are the most popular.

LifePath Hospice is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization. LifePath Hospice does not turn away patients who are uninsured or otherwise unable to pay for hospice care. In 2006, LifePath Hospice provided $4 million in charity care. In order to continue to meet the needs of patients and familieis who cannot pay for hospice services, we rely on community contributions.

Your gift to LifePath Hospice will help support LifePath Hospice's charitable care programs, which include providing hospice care to those who are uninsured or otherwise unable to pay for services; Camp Circle of Love for bereaved children; and the Caregiver Program, which allows patients with a fragile caregiver, or no caregiver at all, to receive hospice care where they are most comfortable -- at home.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please call the LifePath Hospice Development Department at (813) 871-8111 or 1-800-209-2200, or e-mail development@lifepath-hospice.org

$100,000
Challenge Grant Now Underway!

The Community Foundation of Greater Sun City Center has issued a $100,000 Challenge Grant to benefit the LifePath Hospice Residence in Sun City Center. Under the terms of the grant, the Foundation will match the first $100,000 of donations made or pledged to this program by other LifePath Hospice donors. Supporters must contribute or pledge their donations by Feburary 2009.

The LifePath Hospice Residence provides services to patients who are suffering from life-limiting illnesses but do not require the more acute car provided in a Hospice House setting. This also gives patients and families an option when the patient has not suitable place to live or is unable to receive adequate care at home.

Interested in contributing to the $100,000 Challenge Grant? To make a donation or for more information, contact John Wilbur at 813-871-8089 or e-mail wilburj@lifepath-hospice.org
